Habitat;
Chameleons mostly live in Madagascar. They live mostly in tropical trees and grassland. They have a very long tongue that has sticky stuff on the end of it that helps catch flies and other prey.
Description;
Chameleons generally eat insects, but larger species such as the Common Chameleon may also take other lizards and young birds.
Chameleons have zygodactylous feet (with toes fused into opposite bundles of two and three.)
Adaptation;
They change colour with their mood so if they are happy they could turn a light colour.
If the chameleon is angry it could turn red or any dark colour.
Chameleons can change colour, the mechanism involves the concentration of pigment granules in the cells that contain them.
